Essex Premier Cup this morning with seven of our teams in action ... congratulations to Flag & AFC Pegasus who make their way into round two.

The results of all this morning's matches are in and the league tables are up to date.

This morning's roundup is also on together with the updated goalscorers list and the results of week three's prediction competition.

Next week's fixtures will be on a little later.

Next Sunday's fixtures are now on, with refs to follow.

Good luck to all our sides in the first round of the Sunday Premier Cup.

Well, that's the first one out of the way ... and a good morning with all games getting played !!

Congratulations firstly to AFC Pegasus who won this morning's Arthur Boswell Cup match at Lawford, beating Ramsey Mill by six goals to nil.

A match report is on the site, photos to follow later tonight.

The results of all today's games are now on, and the league tables (for what they're worth now) are on.

A brief roundup is also on, as are next Sunday's fixtures.

Referee appointments will of course follow either tonight or tomorrow.

At last Tuesday's AGM, FA Representative Alec Berry presented our League President Alf Banner with the prestigious Football Association 50-Year Award.

Further information regarding Alf's award, together with photos of all the other presentations made that night; including the Charles Duthie Fair Play Awards, the Chairman's Harbour Trophy and the League Merit Award are available on the End of Season Awards page of this season's archive.

The AGM also included the formulation of next season's constitution. The make-up of the four divisions for season 2016/17 is shown below.

Please be aware that with a minimum of twenty-two matches for Divisions Prem, One & Two, and twenty-four for Division Three, things are going to be tight to get all league and cup matches played, especially if we experience a bad winter.

Please therefore think carefully before requesting Sundays off throughout the season !!
