Predictions Competition AND Fantasy Manager

With our season now under way, it's time to mention the return of the predictions competition AND the new Fantasy Football Manager game that will be running throughout our season 2014/15.

The predictions competition will continue as it has done over previous seasons, with entrants predicting the results of ten matches of my choice each week, with points awarded for getting either the exact scoreline or the correct result. Simon Lee has won for the last two seasons and will no doubt be back again looking to retain his title to make it three in a row.

The Fantasy Football Manager game will be based on the scores allocated to players in the Premier League according to the rules in the Telegraph. For our game, entrants must select just SIX players, a goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders & a striker with only one players from any team.

The other difference for us is that you can change your selection every week if you want, but the last selection that is submitted prior to the weekend cut-off point (10.00am each Saturday) will be the team that takes you through to the following weekend. (So, if you change it on a Sunday night, it will still be the original selection that gets used for the Monday night game !!) and if you don't make a selection one week, your previous one will stand.

Both the predictions competition and fantasy manager game begun this week, so get your predictions in and make your team selection as soon as you can.

Good luck ....
