Letters Of Intent

In accordance with League Rules, Clubs intending to continue their Membership for Season 2015 – 2016 must notify the League Secretary in writing by 30th April.

Before you submit your letter of intent please take serious consideration that you have made the correct decision to continue, have you / will you have enough players and the commitment of those players, so that by doing so, the league can hopefully avoid the situation that occurred this year where clubs were dropping out at the very start of the season.

Any new Clubs or new Club Secretaries who are not sure of what they have to do, please contact Mrs Elsie Hewitt (League Secretary)

As the season is coming to an end there may be a need for some clubs to participate in 'double headers'. The procedure is set out in rule 10A on pages 12 & 13 of the handbook but is repeated below for your information ...

"'Double headers’ are two League matches each of 60 minutes duration between the same opponents, played on the same date, at the same venue. The matches will be regarded as separate matches producing the season’s two League results between the teams involved. The pitch and Referee’s fee and expenses will be shared 50% each by the teams involved. The team whose home pitch is used shall collect the monies due and pay the Referee."
