The League’s Annual General Meeting took place on Friday 21st June 2024 at Stanway Village Hall.
Here’s what happened ….
All presentations were made by League President Mr Ernie Osborne.
◾ Old Heath FC were awarded the Alf Banner Chairman’s Award for the 2023-2024 season
◾ David Byrne was awarded the Ken Salmon League Award of Merit
◾ Referee of the Season was awarded to David Byrne
◾ The League presented to Roger Crane to thank him for his work with the League now that he has been voted Vice Chairman and is no longer Group Representative
◾ Charlie Duthie Fair Play Award Winners were:
Premier Division: Wormingford Newtown
Division One: Iceni Wanderers & Pathfields Reserves
Division Two: Marks Tey
◾ League Awards:
Premier Division Winners: Wormingford Newtown
Premier Division Runners Up: Fifteen Degrees
Division One Winners: Great Horkesley
Division One Runners Up: Roman Rovers
Division Two Winners: Harwich & Parkeston Social Club
Division Two Runners Up: Colchester Stars
◾ League Officers were re-elected as follows:
- Chairman: Jon Burns
- Vice Chairman: Aaron Finch
- League Secretary: Aaron Finch
- Registration Secretary: Bob Warner
- Fixture Secretary: Graham Osborne
- Referee Secretary: Simon Lewis
- Disciplinary Officer: Frank Trunks
- Treasurer: Jon Burns
◾ Management Committee were re-elected as follows:
- Ernie Osborne
- Craig Dees
◾ The following new clubs applied to and were elected into the League:
- Camulodunum Romans Reserves
- Chesterwell
- Silver Oyster
- Tendring Borough

- Toosey
- Vikings Reserves
