Committee

All the results from this morning are on and the league tables are up to date. If anyone has any photos from their matches feel free to ping them in and I’ll see if I can get them on 🙂 Next Sunday’s fixtures are on too. Have a good week everyone 🙂

An update from the Arthur Boswell Cup – the Colchester & District Sunday League would like to thank Mr Boswell from all the committee and clubs for his very generous donation of £200 to the chosen charity of the winners Tendring Borough. They chose the local MacMillan Cancer Support, which is run through the Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity.

The seasonal opener, the Arthur Boswell Cup took place at Stanway Rovers FC this morning. Congratulations to Tendring Borough who beat Marks Tey by 4-1. Photos of the presentations are available via the top menu under Season 2026/27. Thanks to Mr Boswell for attending as always and presenting the trophies.

Season 2026/27 will start on Sunday 6th September 2026 and end no later than Sunday 30th May 2027.

Just a quick note to let you know season 2025/26 has now been added to the league archive. If anyone has anything not already on there that they can add, please get in touch.

Gaslights have withdrawn from League with immediate effect but have been replaced in the Premier Division by Colchester Tekkers Community. There has also been a late entry from Harwich & Parkeston Sunday and following the SGM vote by email have been accepted into Division One.

Following the AGM the constitution for next season has been agreed. Open this post for details ….
